Governors of Honeywell Infant & Junior Schools fulfil the role of “critical friends” of the schools.  Our work is supportive but challenges the schools to develop, improve and achieve sustainable success within three core areas of responsibility:

• Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
• Holding senior leaders to account for the educational performance of the schools and their pupils, and the effective and efficient performance management of staff
• Overseeing the schools' financial performance and making sure their money is well spent
