Musicians’ Afternoon at King’s – Tuesday 13th October 2026 – Information for parents

We are delighted to share news of our upcoming Musicians’ Afternoon with you. This event, which will take place on Tuesday 13th October 2026 at King’s College School, Wimbledon, is open to all boys in years 5 and 6 (from September 2026) who have a keen interest in music or who may even wish to apply for one of our Music scholarships at 11+ or 13+.

During our Musicians’ Afternoon, boys and their parents will be taken on a tour of our Music school, hear from our current music scholars, and speak with our friendly and inspiring Music staff. There will also be an open rehearsal and concert which we would invite those with grade 3 or above (in orchestral instruments) to participate in. For the keen pianists, drummers, and guitarists, we invite them to stay and watch the open rehearsal.

Parents will be able to find all the information regarding our event on the Open events and visiting King’s tab on our 11+ and 13+ admissions pages. In case it is helpful, they will also be able to find information on bursary awards at King’s here.

We ask that parents register their interest to attend by completing the following form by Wednesday 30th September 2026.

We very much hope that you will be able to join us for this event.

    With best wishes
