The Design and technology curriculum at Honeywell Infant School aims to provide all children with the skills, knowledge and understanding they need in order to:

• Design and create products which solve problems
• Design and create products for a range of users taking into account the needs of others
• Critique and evaluate their products and ideas
• Evaluate past and present DT and its impact on daily life
• Develop skills needed for food preparation and cooking
