We are delighted that you are considering Honeywell Infant and Junior School for your child/ren.
Honeywell is a foundation school for children aged 3-11 years old. Children can start our Nursery in the September following their 3rd birthday and Reception children start in the September following their 4th birthday. Junior school starts in Year 3 and children are eligible to join our Year 3 in the September following their 7th birthday.
Honeywell is a three form entry school made up of 22 classes. The Infant school has a total of 10 classes which includes the nursery class and 3 classes in each year group: Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. The Junior school has a total of 12 classes with 3 classes in each year group: Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6. Each class, excluding the nursery, is made up of 30 children.
Each year we admit 60 Nursery children, 90 Reception children and 90 Year 3 children and will fill any spaces that we have throughout the school. Children attending Year 2 in Honeywell Infant School will have a place allocated for them in Year 3 of the Junior School although an application needs to be made through the borough in which you live.
